It seems it’s not just MPs who face the prospect of having their offices searched without a warrant. Recently documents obtained by the campaign group NO2ID exposes plans to allow the Home Secretary to authorize searches of anybody working on the ID card scheme. The non-disclosure document signed by all five companies still in the running to build the intrusive and unwanted ID card scheme removes the need to seek judicial overview for these searched to take place and removes the fundamental civil liberties of anybody working on the scheme. This document alone shows why in a democracy there is a need for the people to know what their government is up to. What kind of sinister scheme requires secretive clauses, putting citizens working on the scheme under a Stalinist system operated by the Home Secretary free from any judicial review or oversight? Some serious questions need to be asked and this sick government that has turned against it’s people needs kicking out before anymore damage can be done. Untill this happens there is no longer any justice in England.
