Dancing in the street

Ok look I know I said that mayday should all be about the traditional things but that was before I discovered this. What could be better than people coming together to have a dance in the heart of the city of London? Why shouldn’t they use a public space to have some fun? Let’s face it; most of our environment has been converted into grey blocks of concrete interspersed by corporate advertising. If that wasn’t bad enough, these dull boring spaces where people go about being miserable are watched by hordes of CCTV cameras. Your average cloned shopping street in the UK is boring enough to walk down, so why people would want to film it is beyond me. It’s high time it all got suitably subverted and turned into autonomous fun zones.Although you might get told off by a talking camera
